“Philadelphia rock titans The War on Drugs made a trip up I-95 on Monday for a visit to the Ed Sullivan Theatre and their sophomore appearance on Late Show with David Letterman. In support of their phenomenal third album Lost in the Dream, the band teamed with CBS’ own Paul Schaffer for a jaw-droppingly good rendition of Song of the Year candidate “Red Eyes”. The performance was so good, in fact, that even the competition was raving about it: “Yes!! @warondrugsjams just slayed on Letterman,” Jimmy Fallon music booker Jonathan Cohen tweeted … as his own show was still on the air.” – Consequence Of Sound
